Apparently at this service call they did not check the refrigerant in our air conditioner and as the weather warmed the air ran some much that an ice block formed somewhere and water began leaking into our bathroom from the ceiling. We also had a leak to the outside of our house near our bathroom. I called and Justin came followed by Chris and then Josh. Chris did some work to fix some plumbing problems and Josh figured out where the leak was and did some things to stop the leak. All of these guys did a great job but the problem was initially that during a routine check of our system someone failed to check our freon. That led to water damage and hours of calls and visits to our house that still haven't been corrected."

Chris quickly located the problems with the air handler inside and it ended up more cost efficient to get a new system than to repair our existing one. Although the quote to buy a new system outright was a little higher than the other two companies we consulted with Blake sold me on the Advantage program. Long review short...Basically financing a new system would be within $10 a month of the Advantage program in which the equipment is leased and any problems the system may incur are Comfortechs responsibility. I ended up calling Blake 3 or 4 times with questions before committing and he was able to answer and help me each time."

The next day, the same technician came out, and after two hours and another technician coming out, they finally repaired the wiring. It was incredibly inconvenient. My tenants did not have air conditioning one night, which isn't too bad, but would YOU like to not have a functioning air system in your house? Probably not."

The technicians themselves are great but the company backing them is what is in question at this point. Ive had someone come check it out 4 times now, and everyone has said it works fine. After initial installation, we found a ton of screws in the driveway (and cigarettes), asked them to come clean it all up. This past weekend, we found one in a car tire and had to pay for a replacement tire. The initial install involved them making a giant hole in the garage to run the units line through. They sent a guy to fix it but he said they installed it wrong and it will all have to be redone. Its been raining a lot, so they havent been able to come fix it. Now I have a giant hole in the wall that is getting rained in a lotworried about mold now once it is closed up."

I could have overlooked LaCurtis' mistake except for the fact that the connect between the after-hours call desk and the local office did not work as promised. Joshua deserves a bonus for if it wasn't for him, ConforTech would have lost a customer."

The technician was told there would only be on air conditioner to service and he did not have the filter needed for the one that we are leasing and had to go back to the office for one. I also requested that he blow out the lines because they seemed to be stopped up. Apparently he didn't do it because at least one is still stopped up."
